Urban Family Development Center is committed to providing tools and strategies to families in urban communities to aid in empowering them to overcome poverty.
We believe that, “Family is Everything”, that is to say community stabilization must start with stabilizing individual families.
Urban Family Development Center works to make certain every family has access to the resources required to bring this to fruition.
RENTAL ASSISTANCE
The Emergency Rental Assistance program makes funding available to assist households that are unable to pay rent. Fill out our pre-qualification form.
FAMILY FIRST INITIATIVE
The Family First initiative takes a holistic approach to family stabilization. Family First assist parenting partners with developing a Family Development Plan (FDP) with each participant’s associated goals and benchmarks for success along with intensive case-management.
DADS2B
Our DADS2B Program provides assistance to fathers in underprivileged communities, helping them to understand how critical their involvement in their child's life is from pregnancy to birth...and beyond; including infant mortality.
FRESH START
Coming Fall 2020
Our goal is to train men and women in a construction related trade bridging the gap between ex-offenders and employers. Obtaining these skills individuals that have experienced difficulties becoming gainfully employed will be able to move toward the path of employment and entrepreneurship carving out their own attainable rights to success, as well as employ others who may be seeking the same opportunities in the future
